MALCOLM X, THE DANGEROUS BLACK MAN. One of the ten-dollar sketches I do; you can buy one here, and see all the ones to date here. As part of the sale I’m wrapping up today, any sketches without specified subject requests are going to get black icon sketches, in honor of Black History Month. Malcolm X is one of my heroes—famous as much for his political and religious ideas as for the fear he struck into white people. Just imagine an intelligent black man, uninterested in a slow steady march toward basic human rights, speaking out passionately, articulately, and stubbornly.  SPEAKING OF WHICH, I’m ending my sale today at 9pm EST. I have a ton of surprise bills (and some regular, non-surprise bills) that I need to pay, so I’m having a half-off sale on everything I sell through in my store site: dharbin.bigcartel.com All you have to do is buy any 3 items or more, then enter YESPLEASE in the discount window during checkout. You’ll get half-off everything! That means a one-hour drawing would be $20 instead of $40, prints would be between $7 and $15—it’s pretty crazy. Limited time only—once I get a few bills paid I’ll take the discount down. Doing a drawing for $5 and then shipping it is like working for $1 an hour. But I gots to have me some stimulus!  So!
