THE BOY WITH THE SAFETY CONE HEART. A commission for a gift for a boy with cerebral palsy, who must be vigilant at all times to avoid injury, because he doesn’t “feel” pain in the way we understand. The client explained the situation to me and then gave me a lot of leeway, which was a blessing and a curse, but I think it worked out. I’m a believer in turning circumstances to your benefit, although I’ve never faced a challenge remotely as difficult as living with cerebral palsy. Continually amazed and inspried by people who are able to find their way, and even thrive, in difficult straits.
ARYA STARK. One of the one-hour drawings I’ve been doing, available for purchasing by you right here. All the ones thus far are here. The subject suggestion for this one was “Game of Thrones,” which I’m reading right now (actually the third book of the series). I really like Arya, she’s the best. Don’t tell me anything, I don’t know any spoilers!
The Glory Of God. This one took a lot longer than an hour, but I got excited about it when I started inking it and just went nuts. For my friend and formerly favorite bartender Lightning, who presumably has a less dramatic name, but if so I don’t know it.
One of the one-hour drawings I’ve been doing, available for purchasing by you right here. Although it won’t be this nice or take that long, probably. I don’t want you to be disappointed. All the ones thus far are here.
YOU ARE HERE. One of a series of “Ten Dollar Fourths,” sketches on 1/4 of a sheet of creamy cardstock. Each is 4.25” x 5.5”. You can request your own here.
SWORD & SWORCERY! I’m excited about this game coming out, and the weird character design got in my head enough that I decided to draw some fanart. Which I think has also become Tom Gauld fanart in the process.
The fates are both cruel and kind. One of the one-hour drawings I’ve been doing, available for purchasing by you right here. The subject suggestion for this one was “garden.” All the ones thus far are here.
