#BLACKFRIDHARB
Until Monday at midnight, you can get 40% off all the prints in my shop. Just enter BLACKFRIDHARB at checkout to $cash in$ on this hot deal. Discount is just on prints, but hey as long as you’re in there, no one’s complaining if you buy some $full price$ items as well. I’d recommend Diary Comics #4, and Small Drawings #2 is good too. Thanks in advance, and enjoy this weekend and all the other ones too!

ALONE AT NIGHT. Now available as an open edition giclee print through Inprnt. You can get it in a variety of sizes, both in a 4:3 ratio (designed best for 24” x 18” dimensions) and 3:2 (for 36” x 24” dimensions). You’ll see on the pages—they’re available in smaller and larger sizes too. Basically the 36” x 24” is super big and includes the entirety of the original pen and ink drawing, while the 24” x 18” is slighly less wide, but prints at almost exactly life size, and is pretty dazzling in person, if I do say so myself. Plus the guys at Inprnt have been very helpful to me, so I’d love it if this print sold well for them. Plus I get half the money when they do sell, so that doesn’t hurt either.
Either way, if you are into space, or know someone who is, these prints are going to make them swoon, and I say that as the guy who spent 3+ weeks of 5-6 hours a night cross-hatching every single inch of this thing that isn’t an astronaut (about a 5” square). They will thank you, and I’m thanking you right now!

For those of you who purchased my Alone At Night print, there was a slight delay at the printer, so thank you for your patience! I should have them in hand around Tuesday, and will try to get them all turned around in a day or so! And there are just a few left over you can still get, if you missed the presell.

ALONE AT NIGHT presell ends at midnight toNIGHT

IF you are planning on buying THIS print featuring a lonely astronaut at night, then YOU had better get on it, sister. The presell ends at MIDNIGHT EST. The numbered edition will comprise the total orders (currently about 25) + 5 for me + 5 extra because I’m an optimist. So if you’re into numbered limited editions, then it’ll be a nice low one for a really sharp looking print. I got the proof back today and posted a detail on my Instagram. I don’t want to brag, but U_U

SO I ordered a few of the prints from my Inprnt store to sell at this weekend’s HeroesCon (where I’ll be at table AA-1004, between Koyama Press and Evan Dorkin). I set these files up especially to print for Inprnt’s parameters, at 18x24, and literally got a little drunk when I opened up the package. The ink is so rich and dense, and there’s something weirdly… right about an 18x24 print that was originally a little 8x10 ink drawing.

Anyway, these prints look fantastic. I’ll have 3 each of the one pictured, “Behold! The Dinosaurs!,” “Tyrannosaurus Bats,” and “In The Woods.” Plus my recent books, other smaller prints, originals, all the crazy bazaar of stuff I bring to shows. I’m actually bringing a 6’ tall shelf just to show off more stuff.

And if you aren’t going to be at HeroesCon this weekend, those big 18x24 giclee prints are available in my Inprnt store, ship fast, and look amazing.

BOXES (detail). I was about to go approve the proofs for this new giclee print I’m doing, but my truck won’t start. *sound of me trying to start it for 30 minutes* Sales on this print have been slow, which is not your fault. But if you were thinking of getting one and were on the fence, or just would like something colorful for your wall, something made by a 38 year old man who I guess is going to have some auto bills in his future, something that’s taken from a story that he’s very proud of, though it was painful to make… well this is your chance!
And don’t forget that I’m having a sale until Monday morning, meaning you can enter discount code SPRING during checkout and get 30% off this and anything else in my store you’d like, as long as you hit a $20 minimum. Thanks in advance for your orders, and if you don’t feel inclined, feel free to share and that’s good too. Or, do nothing at all: you’ve earned it!

BOXES. A new 14” x 8.5” [EDIT: printer problems have changed this to a 12” x 9”] giclee print, now up for presell, which will last until Friday, May 3; all prints sold during this time will be part of a numbered edition exclusive to this period—AND they’re part of the sale mentioned below, so while they’re listed at $30, functionally they’re $21 during the presell.

Prints sold after that time will be part of a small unnumbered quantity debuting at TCAF. If you’d like to purchase a numbered print to pick up in person at TCAF, place your order as normal and then email me at dustyATdharbinDOTcom and I’ll refund your shipping costs and bring that mother right to you, along with anything else included in the order.

SPEAKING of orders, I’ll be running a spring-cleaning sale all week in my store, ending at 9am on Monday, May 6. Enter SPRING under discount code to get 30% off any order of $20 or more. That sale includes the above print! And pretty much everything else except the original drawing items, which will return once the sale has ended (and I’m caught up on orders, fingers crossed) also this Monday.

ANYWAY, the print—remember the print—is a redrawn version of 3 pages from the middle of my story “Boxes”, which is of all the things I’ve done creatively, the one I’m most proud of, though it’s pretty personal and more than half bleak. If you haven’t read it before, all 38 pages are up on my site, and it’s the last half of Diary Comics #4, which is available here and will be 30% off as long as you spend at least $20 in my sale—remember the sale?

I got my proofs back for the In The Woods print, and while it’s hard to see in this photo (taken in a rented truck while moving a sofa), the ink, especially in the dark tree at right, is so dark and textured and thick that it looks like velvet. I couldn’t be more pleased, and believe me I’m a picky m-f. If you’ve already bought one of these, you’re going to be pretty excited when you get it in the mail. If you haven’t, there are about 30 left right here.
